Ready To Help You Find Academic Success!
I started Pegasus Tutoring after working for several decades at a small university as an adjunct professor and also working as a private tutor. I saw a great need for students to get extra help outside of class and what was offered by the university and more than what a professor could offer to every student. There was also a shortage of tutors with the right qualities. Finding a statistics tutor who knew the material and could explain it clearly in a personable way was no easy task. I wanted to help more students.
When online tutoring became a viable option, I jumped right into it because there were many students who could not find a tutor in their area. The advantages of online tutoring were great and I have never gone back to commuting. Sharing images and content has never been easier. Sessions can be recorded. With online tutoring, each session is a focused, intensive, productive learning session. There is no distraction. I have learned how to share ideas and make students be accountable for information by discussing ideas verbally. This is an often-overlooked skill.
I have taken hundreds of students through college statistics programs across the country. I have helped students who were failing and students who thought they were hopeless. I do this as my full-time job. There is a certain kind of experience gained from working with individuals that gives me insight into learning that classroom teachers don’t have time to explore. Very few tutors will have the experience I have. I know most college statistics courses inside and out. We can jump right in and get down to business with very little wasted time and energy.
We have now grown to a small group of tutors who I have carefully selected to deliver the same level of instruction that I want for my students. I am excited to be able to offer these services to you. If you are looking for a tutor and you wonder if this will work for you, I invite you to set up a free initial consult session.
